I bought my first guitar the day SRV died. I remember it like it was yesterday. With $300 burning a hole in my pocket I had tried some guitars that morning and heard that SRV died and took it as a sign I was buying a guitar that day. He was a brillaint guitarist with chops, tone and feel. The full package IMHO.
